Research shows that depression and anxiety are both complex experiences, involving varying elements of biological/genetic predisposition, the circumstances of one's life, and internal psychological issues.

The good news:

My experience is that with an integral approach--taking into account how anxiety and depression affect your body, heart, mind and spirit--that there is the real possibility of breaking down the internal and external elements and actually overcoming these states. You can develop a deep understanding and mastery of depression and anxiety; no one is doomed to the mere "management" of symptoms.

My work is to help you make this fundamental change.

I focus on an integral approach to change. Since depression and anxiety are complex, permanent change requires an approach that gets at all the different roots. As in gardening, if you just pull the tops of the weeds, eventually the roots left in the ground will sprout again.
